In the Penza region OJSC "Atmis-sugar" of the Kamensky district of the Penza region has started processing SUGAR beets of the new harvest and producing sugar.
Kamensky Sugar Plant started this work on September 02, as of the reporting date, the plant produced 1.3 thousand tons of sugar.
In the Penza region, agricultural producers of the Bekovsky and Kamensky districts have started harvesting sugar beets. Sugar beet harvested from an area of 784 hectares, the gross harvest - 26.1 thousand tons.
