According to the operational information of the district agronomic services in the Penza region, 1.65 million tons of grain were harvested as of the reporting date. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops in the farms of the region is 27 c/ha.
In the farms of the Penza region, as of the reporting date, the gross harvest of winter wheat amounted to 831 thousand tons with an average yield of 27 centners per hectare, 21.6 thousand tons of winter rye were harvested with an average yield of 24 centners per hectare, 410.6 thousand tons of spring wheat with average productivity of 27 q/ha. The gross harvest of barley amounted to 318.2 thousand tons with an average yield of 30 centners per hectare.
Industrial crops have been removed from an area of 13.2 thousand hectares. The gross harvest of spring rapeseed amounted to 5.5 thousand tons.
