In the Penza region, according to the results of 9 months of 2021, agricultural organizations produced 294.8 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight, which is more than last year. In September, 35.1 thousand tons of livestock and poultry were produced, which is 7.3% more than in September 2020.
Gross MILK yield in agricultural organizations amounted to 187 thousand tons, which is 22% more than in the same period in 2020. In September 2021, the gross milk yield amounted to 21.2 thousand tons, which is 19.7% more than in September 2020.
Milk yield per cow of the dairy herd in agricultural organizations amounted to 6954 kg, 8% more than in 9 months of 2020. In September, this figure was 765 kg, which is 9% more than in September 2020.
In January-September 2021, 108.8 million chicken eggs were received, which is 7% more than in January-September 2020. In September 2021, 12 million chicken eggs were received, which is 4.7% more than in September 2020.
