Spring field work has started in the Penza region

The active onset of heat and melting snow noticeably revived the farmers in matters of final preparations for going out into the field. Agricultural producers of the Shemyshey region started feeding winter crops with mineral fertilizers. As of today, winter crops have been fed on an area of ​​175 hectares.
Winter grain crops of the 2022 harvest in the Penza region cover an area of ​​385.5 thousand hectares, of which winter wheat is 376.9 thousand hectares.
According to the regional agronomic services, as of the current date, the condition of 74% of winter crops is assessed as good, 25% as satisfactory.
