2 million tons of grain harvested in Penza region

The harvesting campaign is successfully going on in the farms of the Penza region. As of the reporting date, according to operational information in the region, the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 2 million tons, the average yield in the region was 42 c/ha.
The gross harvest of winter wheat amounted to 1 million 495.9 thousand tons with an average yield of 46 centners per hectare. The gross harvest of barley amounted to 334.1 thousand tons, the average yield - 36 centners per hectare, spring wheat - 174.5 thousand tons with an average yield of 37 centners per hectare, peas - 35.5 thousand tons.
This year, agricultural producers will have to remove grain and leguminous crops from an area of ​​858.4 thousand hectares.
