In the Penza region, according to operational information of the district agronomic services, as of the reporting date, the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops is 2.18 million tons with an average yield of 26.8 centners per hectare.
Agricultural enterprises of the Penza region received 83.1 thousand tons of corn for grain with an average yield of 71 q/ha. The gross harvest of SUGAR beet is 1.04 million tons with an average yield of 378 centners per hectare. 362.1 thousand tons of sunflower were received. The average yield in the region is 19 q/ha.
