The best operator of machine milking cows will be determined in the Penza region

On August 25, 2021, on the basis of the farm of Nikolai Parshin in the Gorodishchensky district of the Penza region, the regional competition of professional skills "The Best in Profession" in the nomination "The Best Machine Milking Operator of Cows" will be held.
The best specialists in this area of farms in the Penza region will compete in theoretical knowledge and professional skills. Competition tasks will traditionally consist of two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical knowledge will be tested according to the method of test tasks. Each participant is given a card with test questions on knowledge of the physiology of MILK production and milk flow, hygiene of cows and premises, installation and operation of milking equipment, obtaining high quality milk, safety precautions.
The implementation of the practical task will allow assessing the skills of the contestants, their qualifications, compliance with the technology of work, norms and rules for labor protection, possession of advanced methods and methods of work, the ability to use the tool in a qualified manner, and carry out quality self-control when performing work. During the practical task, all participants of the competition will be provided with equivalent workplaces with the necessary set of tools and consumables.
The contestants will demonstrate their practical skills in machine milking of cows, which include disassembly and assembly of milking equipment, the process of milking cows, taking into account sanitary preparation.
The criteria for evaluating the implementation of a practical task include the time of completion and the quality of the work.
The work of the participants in the professional skills competition will be evaluated by a commission, which will include specialists from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the Penza State Agrarian University.
Also, within the framework of the competition, a traditional regional meeting with regional zoo veterinarians will be held to sum up the work of the livestock industry, discuss problems and development plans.
