A meeting on the modernization of dairy farms was held in the Novgorod region

On December 28, on the basis of the collective farm "Russia" of the Solets municipal district, under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Novgorod Region Vladimir Tatarenko, a field meeting was held on the modernization of dairy farms. It was attended by representatives of the Ministry, agricultural enterprises, peasant (farm) enterprises and the Novgorod Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and AIC Specialists.

As of December 1, 2021, the number of cattle in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises of the region amounted to 23 thousand heads, including 11.2 thousand heads of cows.
For 11 months, agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises produced 41.9 thousand tons of milk.

The largest share in the total production is occupied by the Novgorod municipal district - 17%.

Milk yield per cow in January-November 2021 amounted to 4744 kg (100.6% compared to the same period last year). The top three include:
LLC "Belgrankorm - Veliky Novgorod" 6680 kg;
OOO Peredolskoye 6636 kg;
SPK "Levochsky" 6569 kg.

There are 6 pedigree reproducers in the region for breeding Black-and-White and Ayrshire cattle (Peredolskoye LLC, Decisive LLC, Novgorod Bacon LLC, Yermolinskoye OJSC, Savino CJSC, Levochsky SPK).

The total number of breeding stock in the region is 2.3 thousand heads.

Particular attention is paid to technological modernization in dairy cattle breeding.

So, in 2021, the Vesna farm in the Batetsky district began the construction of a livestock farm for 100 head of cattle.
Peasant (farm) economy Yurchenko is building a livestock farm for 40 heads of cattle.
CJSC "Sadko" is reconstructing a livestock building for growing rearing young cattle for 250.
In the Moshensky district, Ismoilov's peasant (farm) enterprise is carrying out a major overhaul of the livestock.
This year Belgrankorm-Veliky Novgorod LLC is building the second stage of a modern high-tech dairy complex on the territory of the region. This will increase the livestock to 800 cows.
In 2022, the KFH of Plotnikov, Starorussky district, will start building a farm for 50 heads.
LLC "Reshachiy" will modernize the milking machine.

When implementing investment projects for construction and modernization, state support is provided for the reimbursement of part of the direct costs incurred, support is provided for the reimbursement of part of the costs of paying interest on investment loans (loans), and the purchase of new agricultural equipment is subsidized.
