In Mordovia, 24 notifications on working with livestock by-products have been registered for the coming 2024

Specialists from the Department of State Veterinary Supervision for the Republic of Mordovia of the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region began work on receiving notifications regarding the classification of substances formed during the keeping of farm animals as livestock by-products (hereinafter referred to as APP) for 2024 .
In total, since the beginning of November 2023, the Department has received 24 notifications from agricultural producers of the Republic of Mordovia.
Let us recall that on March 1, 2023, the Federal Law of July 14, 2022 No. 248 “On livestock by-products and on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation” came into force, according to which legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, peasant farms engaged in activities for keeping and breeding farm animals are required to annually provide notifications regarding the classification of substances formed during the keeping of farm animals as by-products of animal husbandry.
DPF includes manure, litter, litter, and wastewater, which can later be used to restore the fertility of agricultural land.
In the form for notification of PPZ it is necessary to indicate information about the types of PPZ, volumes (in tons), date of formation, planned periods of use in agricultural production and the results of such use, as well as indicate the transfer to other persons and the results of such transfer (if necessary).
Please note that in the column “Date of formation” the period from 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 is indicated.
In the column “Planned terms of use in agricultural production and the results of such use” the terms (period) after 2024 are indicated. As a result of use, you can indicate, for example, improvement of land fertility (or application to the soil), or production of organic fertilizer (No.___ certificate of state registration for a pesticide and agrochemical).
The official website of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region in the section “Livestock By-Products” contains information regarding the legal regulation of this area, as well as a notification form and a sample for filling it out.
Notifications are sent to the territorial department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance at the place where livestock by-products are generated (separately for each site where animals are kept).
Notifications for 2024 to all interested agricultural producers of the Republic of Mordovia must be sent to the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region before December 31, 2023 in person, to the email address rshn25@fsvps.gov.ru, as well as by post (registered mail).
