In Melitopol district of Zaporizhia region the results of autumn sowing of agricultural crops were summed up

Winter sowing has been completed in the Melitopol district of the Zaporizhia region. About 14.5 thousand hectares of wheat, 1.5 thousand hectares of barley, more than 300 hectares of peas and 80 hectares of rapeseed have been sown for the 2024 harvest.
Agricultural producers in the region have successfully completed the re-registration process and are now working within the legal framework of the Russian Federation, which allowed them to receive state support in a timely manner for the development of their own production.
"Thanks to the joint work of farmers and the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Complex and Food Policy of the Zaporizhia region, sowing areas have been preserved and prepared for spring field work in the district," said Andriy Siguta, HEAD of the Melitopol district administration.
