There is not much time left before the spring sowing begins.
The preparation of the 2024 harvest began last year with soil preparation, fertilization and sowing of winter crops. Now farms are checking the readiness of equipment, the availability of seeds, and reserves of mineral fertilizers. At on-site seminars, specialists from the regional department of agriculture, the Agrochemical Service Center, the Rosselkhozcenter and Gostekhnadzor talk about what new laws and rules are in force this year, what support measures are available, what crops should be emphasized this year, what is the state of winter crops , where you can, if necessary, purchase seeds, plant protection products, how much fertilizer will need to be applied based on monitoring the condition of the soil, etc. and so on. In 2024, in the Lipetsk region the grain crop wedge is decreasing, and the area under oilseeds and SUGAR beets is increasing. 95% of winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition. The supply of seeds at the moment for the grain group is 100%, for the technical group - 80%. Mineral fertilizers necessary for fertilizing in the spring were delivered at 105% of the requirement. This year, 1.6 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal and regional budgets to support the crop production industry. Funds are allocated for the purchase of seeds produced within the framework of the FNTP, to support grain producers, carry out agrotechnological work, produce fruit and berry products, stimulate the production of potatoes and vegetables, liming of acidic soils, drainage works and agricultural insurance. it is also planned to provide authorized banks with subsidies of 356.6 million rubles for preferential short-term lending to projects in the crop production industry. On March 5 in Usman such a meeting was held for representatives of 4 districts: Usmansky, Gryazinsky, Dobrinsky and Khlevensky. On March 12 in Yelets, a similar meeting-seminar will bring together farmers from the Yeletsk and Krasninsky districts, Izmalkovsky, Lipetsk and Stanovlyansky districts.
