“Despite the difficult weather conditions that have developed this year for most crops, the gross harvest for sugar beet will be at least 10% higher than in the past,” said Oleg Dolgikh, HEAD of the Lipetsk Region Agriculture Department. “We plan to receive about 800 thousand tons of sugar in 2021.”
