
In the Kemerovo region, the harvesting of grain crops has been completed; over the past season, more than 1.6 million tons of grain were harvested.

The average grain yield, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, amounted to 28.1 centners per hectare, which is 3.1 centners per hectare higher than last year. According to this indicator, Kuzbass is one of the three leaders among the regions of Siberia along with the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Tomsk Region.
In total, 588.8 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been threshed in the region. According to preliminary data, farmers harvested 1 million 653 thousand tons of grain in bunker weight, which is 15.4% more than last year (1 million 432 thousand tons).

The first to complete grain harvesting were farmers from the Yurginsky, Tyazhinsky and Yashkinsky municipal districts. High grain yields were achieved in the Guryevsk (35.1 centner/ha), Prokopyevsk (33.2 centner/ha) and Kemerovo (29.5 centner/ha) municipal districts.
The harvesting of potatoes and vegetables has also been completed. From an area of 8.3 thousand hectares, 162 thousand tons of potatoes were harvested with a yield of 195 q/ha. Farmers of Yashkinskiy (279.6 centner/ha), Prokopyevskiy (235 centner/ha) and Kemerovo (200.7 centner/ha) municipal districts are in the lead in the collection of potatoes per hectare. The harvest of vegetables from an area of 951 hectares amounted to 24 thousand tons (yield - 252.8 q/ha).
Harvesting of industrial crops is also being completed: from an area of 120 thousand hectares (99.4%), 218 thousand tons are harvested, which is almost 17% more than last year (182.4 thousand tons) with a yield of 18.1 q/ha . Rape has been harvested completely - 187.4 thousand tons of seeds have been collected from an area of 93.8 thousand hectares. Kemerovo (27.8 centner/ha), Tyazhinskiy (24.6 centner/ha) and Guryevskiy (23.4 centner/ha) municipal districts are leaders in yield of this crop.
The plan for harvesting roughage for uninterrupted operation has been completed, and silage harvesting continues.
Kuzbass is already actively preparing for the 2022 sowing campaign. The sowing of winter crops has been completed on an area of 43.5 thousand hectares. Seeds of winter and spring crops are also filled into the storages: as of the current date, the stock amounted to 119.3 thousand tons of seeds, or 98.9% of the plan. Autumn tillage was carried out on 222.3 thousand hectares (77% of the plan).
