According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, over the past few years, mushroom growing in RUSSIA has become one of the most actively developing areas from a niche field of activity.
In Kuzbass, mushroom growing is not the most popular branch of agriculture, however, since 2019, Kuzbass Broiler LLC has been implementing a major investment project for the production of champignons.
Mushrooms are grown on the basis of a six-story building, completely reconstructed to create optimal conditions for growing mushrooms. This is the first large complex for the production of mushrooms beyond the Urals, where production is carried out according to a closed cycle "own raw materials - own compost - growing champignons". Maintaining optimal conditions for the germination of the fungus is a rather complicated process, which is influenced by air humidity, temperature and the quality of care. The company has everything you need for this. In 2020, about 20 tons of the product were produced, in 2021 - 272 tons. The total production capacity will be about 1800 tons per year. The product is sold in a large network of Kuzbass farm shops.
In addition, the spent mushroom compost will be vermicomposted (processed by earthworms) in order to obtain a highly effective fertilizer, which is recognized as the best in the world. it is planned to produce about 9.3 thousand tons of vermicompost per year.
