In Crimea, the flax harvesting campaign is in full swing. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Andrey Ryumshin during a working trip to the Dzhankoy district.

Crimean farmers have already harvested 2.5 thousand hectares of this crop, threshed 3.4 thousand tons.

“Today I visited the fields of the farmer Kerim Chelebiev. The agricultural producer will have to harvest more than 700 hectares of the sown area of ​​this oilseed. This year, the farmer has a good flax yield, and this plant also has a high profitability. The largest areas occupied by flax are located in the Saksky, Razdolnensky, Chernomorsky, Dzhankoysky and Krasnogvardeysky regions. the average crop yield in the republic is more than 13 q/ha,” Andrey Ryumshin noted.

The HEAD of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also emphasized that more than 43 thousand hectares of flax were sown in the Republic of Crimea for the 2021 harvest. Compared to last year, the area under crops increased by 15%.
