The best rural horsemen were chosen in Krasnoyarsk Krai

The 25th regional rural horse racing competitions have ended at the Mustang hippodrome in Yemelyanovo.
Eight teams from the Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Idrinsko-Krasnoturansky, Rybinsky, Uzhursky and Achinsky districts took part in the races and races.
“Holding competitions has become a good tradition for our region. Every year, athletes and horse lovers gather here. People come with their families to have an interesting time and enjoy the exciting spectacle. An entertainment program and a fair of local producers were organized especially for the guests of the event this year,” he said.Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Dmitry Voropaev.
The competition consisted of seven disciplines. The time to complete the distance and the correctness of the horses' gait were assessed, while in threes - riding for speed and quality of movement.
The first place was won by the riders of the individual entrepreneur, the HEAD of the peasant (farming) enterprise Evgeny Zaifert from the Uzhur District. The second place was taken by the team of OAO Tyulkovskoye from the Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky District. The third place went to the riders of OOO OPKh Solyanskoye from the Rybinsk District.
In the three-horse race, the first place went to AO Solgon.
The awards - diplomas, cups and keys to UAZ cars - were presented to the winners and prize-winners by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Territory Sergei Shekk.
The participants of the competition who were not among the prize-winners received diplomas and cash prizes according to the points they scored. The prize fund of the competition from the regional budget, including the costs of purchasing cars, amounted to 7.5 million rubles.
Vladimir Tynyany, DIRECTOR of OAO Tyulkovskoye: "We train horses all year round, and prepare for competitions very seriously. Regional competitions of rural horsemen are the most significant event for horse breeders in the region. There are decent prizes, which are a good support for agricultural enterprises engaged in horse breeding. Keeping pedigree horses is a very expensive undertaking. Therefore, state support for the industry is very important."
Rural horsemen's competitions are held annually to popularize and develop horse breeding in the region, identify the best pedigree horses, and increase the entertainment value of trotting and racing tests.
