In Komi, the winners of regional competitions in the field of animal husbandry were determined

Competitions were established by the administration of the Ust-Tsilemsky district and are held annually. Their goal is to stimulate the achievement of high results in the production of livestock products, the expansion of the range of dairy products and the promotion of quality products to the consumer market of the region.
In January of this year, the winners of regional competitions were determined based on the results of work in 2022. In achieving the best results among producers of dairy products, the peasant (farm) farm of Vasily Zakharov from the village of Khabarikha was recognized as the winner. The volume of production of whole MILK products (in terms of milk) compared to 2021 in the economy increased by 9%. The assortment of dairy products has been preserved, its quality is confirmed by the Declaration of Conformity. On March 3, as part of the conference of peasant (farm) farms, a new farm for 160 heads of dairy cattle will be opened on the farm of V. Zakharov.
Three peasant (farm) farms were recognized as the best in the development of animal husbandry.
Among organizations and peasant (farm) farms containing at least 50 heads of dairy cows, the winner of the competition was Viktor Tomilov's peasant farm from Zamezhnaya. Milk yield on the farm increased by 467 kg compared to last year and reached more than 4,700 kg per feed cow. The yield of calves was 97.9%.
Among the organizations and peasant (farm) farms containing from 10 to 50 heads of dairy cows, the farm of Nikolai Toropov from the village of Verkhnee Bugaevo won. Compared to 2021, the milk yield on the farm increased by 209 kg and amounted to 4,075 kg per feed cow. The yield of calves is 94.9%.
Among organizations and peasant (farm) farms containing at least 10 cows of specialized MEAT breeds, the conditions of the competition were met by farmer Vladimir Pozdeev from Ust-Tsilma. The number of cows in his farm increased by 7 heads.
The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas of the municipal district "Ust-Tsilemsky" with the payment of a cash prize.
