According to preliminary data, in 2021, agricultural products worth $16.2 million were exported from Kabardino- Balkaria . The forecast indicator was fulfilled by 108%.
According to the agreement signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA and the Government of Kabardino-Balkaria on the implementation of the regional project "Export of agricultural products" of the national project "International cooperation and export", the target indicator for the EXPORT of agricultural products for the republic for 2021 was planned in the amount of 15 million US dollars.
Grain, confectionery, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and starch traditionally form the basis of exports of agricultural products of Kabardino-Balkaria.
