A farm for 200 animals was launched in the Ivanovo region

This year, the Savino agricultural production complex implemented an investment project to build a dairy farm for 200 heads.
During a working trip to the Savinsky district, Denis Cherkesov, a member of the government of the Ivanovo region, DIRECTOR of the department of agriculture and food, visited the agricultural enterprise and discussed the prospects for further development of production with the HEAD of the agricultural production company Irina Razgonyeva.
As Denis Cherkesov reported, this is the second dairy complex that was launched this year in the Ivanovo region. Construction of four more complexes is currently underway in the Ivanovsky, Ilyinsky and Rodnikovsky districts. All of them will be introduced at the end of this year or in the first half of next. Over 9 months, 126.3 thousand tons of MILK were produced in the Ivanovo region, which is 5.5% more than last year. The milk productivity of cows in agricultural organizations increased by 6.8% and reached 5,698 kg. “This year we plan to reach an average productivity of 7,300 kg per cow, which is 6% more than last year,” noted Denis Cherkesov.
As Irina Razgonyaeva said, a year and a half ago it was decided to modernize the calf barn; it was reconstructed into a farm for 200 cows with tethered housing. We used our own funds in the amount of 18 million rubles for construction. To purchase equipment for the new complex, they received a soft loan from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture in the amount of 6 million rubles. Now the new complex is 60% full, and the farm plans to complete it by purchasing additional livestock. The new farm will allow the farm to increase the productivity of cows.
SPK "Savino" is a breeding reproducer for the breeding of black and white cattle . Currently, the total number of cattle on the farm is 630 heads, of which 300 are milking herds. For 9 months of this year, 1.4 tons of milk were produced, 4681 kg of milk was obtained from one cow.
The farm supplies raw milk to a processing plant in the Yaroslavl region, and also processes it in its own workshop. The workshop produces pasteurized milk and cottage cheese. The produced dairy products are supplied to preschool and school educational institutions in the Savinsky district and sold at retail outlets in the village of Savino, the cities of Shuya and Kovrov.
The farm enjoys state support measures; for example, in 2023, the agricultural enterprise received subsidies for carrying out a complex of agrotechnological work in crop production, stimulating increased productivity in dairy cattle breeding, and supporting livestock breeding with a total amount of almost 1.2 million rubles.
