At the beginning of next year, a new farm for 400 cows with a milking parlour, will be put into operation at Rassvet SPK. Denis Cherkesov, DIRECTOR of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region, got acquainted with the implementation of the investment project as part of a working trip to Gavrilovo-Posadsky District.

The HEAD of the relevant department visited the new farm and discussed with the chairman of the Rassvet agricultural production cooperative Andrey Laptev issues of state support for the project.

In 2020, the Rassvet agricultural enterprise launched an investment project for the construction of a dairy complex for 850 head of cattle. The cost of the project is 130 million rubles. At present, the farm is completing the first stage of the project - a farm for 400 cattle places has been built and equipment is being installed in the milking and dairy unit.

“To implement the investment project, this year the farm was approved a soft loan from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the amount of 97.3 million rubles,” Denis Cherkesov noted. The agricultural enterprise also regularly receives support for the development of livestock breeding, MILK production, crop production and technological re-equipment. For a new investment project, such a form of support is available as compensation for part of the capital costs through the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

As the head of the SEC said, at the beginning of next year the new complex will be put into operation, five jobs will be created. “We plan to receive 3.5-4 thousand tons of milk per year on it, and when the second stage is launched, we will increase this figure by 1.5 times. To complete the complex, 420 Holstein breeding heifers were purchased, including 272 in Denmark,” Andrey Laptev said.

Denis Cherkesov noted that the construction of modern livestock complexes contributes to the increase in agricultural production. Thus, three dairy complexes were introduced in the region this year. These are a complex for 1,200 heads at the Leninsky Put Breeding Plant in the Puchezhsky District, a complex for 400 heads at the Zarya Breeding Plant in the Rodnikovsky District, and a complex for 200 heads at the Paninskoye Farm in the Savinsky District. In addition, in the Shuisky district, the modernization of a calf barn for 300 heads on the Arseny collective farm has been completed.

The implementation of these projects will make it possible to create 2,200 new cattle places for the dairy herd and receive an additional 16.2 thousand tons of milk annually. Thanks to the investment projects being implemented in the industry, more than 100 jobs will be created in the region.
