In the Ivanovo region, a family farm is developing meat production using grant support.

In the village of Vvedenye, the Koryagin brothers' family business produces sausages and deli meats using funding from an Agrostartup grant. Plans include expanding sales and product range.
During a working visit to the Shuya District, Deputy Chairman of the Ivanovo Region Government Denis Cherkesov visited the new production facility of the Derevenskaya Kolbaska farm and discussed development plans with the farmers.
In 2023, the Koryagin brothers participated in a competitive selection process for Agrostartup grant recipients. The MEAT production project was supported by the selection committee, and the farmers received a grant.
Government support helped them purchase equipment and expand their product range and production volume. They have also established a partnership with the Nikolo-Shartomsky Monastery, which supplies meat for processing and assists with marketing. The Derevenskaya Kolbaska farm is a regular participant in regional festivals and fairs, where we offer our producers the opportunity to sell their products. "The farm's products will be presented on September 13 at the Harvest Day fair in Ivanovo," Denis Cherkesov said.
Harvest Day is a traditional folk fair dedicated to the results of the agricultural season, family values, and uniting all residents of the region in charity and good deeds. The event will feature exhibits from all 27 municipalities of the Ivanovo region, showcasing achievements in agriculture, the food industry, and folk arts and crafts. "The 'We Don't Abandon Our Own' foundation is also organizing a humanitarian aid drive, and other humanitarian events will be held. I invite everyone to join this charitable mission," the deputy chairman noted.
Semyon Koryagin explained that two other brothers work on the family farm. "Our parents have always been involved in agriculture, raising livestock and having a small subsidiary farm, so we've been familiar with this work since childhood. In 2019, we decided to make sausage for ourselves, treated our relatives and friends, and they loved it. "That's how the idea for a family business came about," he noted. A few months ago, the production facility was moved to a new location, where it was renovated, and a smokehouse and meat grinding and mixing equipment were purchased with funds from an Agrostartup grant. This allowed them to expand their product range and production volumes; they now produce around 15 types of meat products, including sausages, deli meats, frankfurters, and stewed meat. They use veal, beef, and pork from local producers. Future plans include opening a store on the premises, where, in addition to processed meat products, they will sell chilled meat and their own semi-finished meat products.
It's worth noting that in 2025, the total amount of state support for farmers and agricultural cooperatives in the Ivanovo region is 178 million rubles, of which 153 million rubles have already been transferred to recipients. Sixteen aspiring farmers in the Ivanovo region received "Agrostartup" grants ranging from 1.8 to 5.3 million rubles to support their businesses. A total of 64.2 million rubles have been allocated for "Agrostartup" grant support in 2025.
Furthermore, in 2024 , the "Derevenskaya Kolbaska" farm won the second wave of the "Business in Small Towns" project.
