The regional budget has allocated additional funds to compensate agricultural producers for equipment purchases. Governor Stanislav Voskresensky signed
the corresponding amendments to the regional budget law
for 2025 and the 2026-2027 planning period. The total subsidy for this purpose in the region will reach 115.3 million rubles in 2025.
"This regional government support measure allows the region's farmers to regularly update their machinery and tractor fleet and modernize production. The increased funding will also facilitate the purchase of equipment needed during harvesting and forage harvesting," noted Sergei Bubnov, member of the Ivanovo Region government and DIRECTOR of the regional Department of Agriculture and Food.
As a reminder, the Ivanovo Region has a regional government support program for agricultural production, offering a subsidy to offset a portion of the down payment on leased equipment, amounting to 70% of the down payment, which is either 15% or 35% of the equipment's cost. This year, at the direction of Ivanovo Region Governor Stanislav Voskresensky, this support program has been expanded. Farmers will now receive subsidies for machinery and equipment purchased with their own funds. Farmers appealed to the governor for this improved support program at a meeting on preparations for spring field work held in Gavrilov Posad in April. The procedure for providing the subsidy is being developed.
Since the beginning of this year, farmers in the Ivanovo Region have purchased over 100 units of agricultural machinery and equipment through leasing, preferential loans, and their own funds, including 23 tractors, 4 combine harvesters, and 75 units of trailed and mounted equipment. New equipment for agricultural producers was presented at Field Day: the number of samples on display increased by one and a half times this year.
