The regional folk fair "Harvest Day" was held in the Ivanovo region

On the last Sunday of the month - September 25, municipalities, farmers and gardeners from all over the Ivanovo region gathered for a large-scale fair of achievements "Harvest Day", which was held for the first time in Ivanovo, in the Park of Culture and Rest named after. V.Ya. Stepanova.

Together with the residents of the region, agricultural workers, representatives of cities and regions, the governor of the Ivanovo region Stanislav Voskresensky visited the fair. “We are doing a “Harvest Day” so that all people know what our Ivanovo land is rich in. Traditionally, the Ivanovo region is not associated with agriculture. I would like to congratulate all the villagers and thank them for such a very high-quality, selfless and responsible work,” said Stanislav Voskresensky. At the booth of the Gavrilovo-Posad district, the governor summed up the preliminary results of the harvesting campaign. “This year there is a good harvest: 30% more cereals, 10% more vegetables in the open field, 12% more potatoes. Everyone did their best. I bow to all the villagers,” he said. The Governor wished further success to the workers of the agro-industrial complex.
Here, Stanislav Voskresensky talked with the families who came from Donbass, who came to the Harvest Day to get acquainted with the region, traditions, and achievements. They said that volunteers help a lot in settling in the new place, and thanked for this help. The governor asked how the issue of getting a job at school and work was resolved, what are the future plans. “We are glad that we ended up in the Ivanovo region,” the women said. “We are always happy for hard-working people. We have very sympathetic people in the Ivanovo region - you will feel it, they are very kind, very sympathetic," said Stanislav Voskresensky.
It should be noted that the participants of the fair took an active part in the work of the ONF humanitarian aid collection point and the volunteer headquarters for families from the DPR, LPR and other territories that the residents had to leave. Residents of all districts of the Ivanovo region handed over essentials, shared their products and specialty gastronomic dishes.
The head of the region examined 27 expositions of districts and cities of the Ivanovo region, talked with the participants on a variety of topics.

Harvest Day is a large-scale, folk fair dedicated to the harvest and family well-being.
