
As noted at the board of the department, the past year was a year of successful development of agriculture in the Ivanovo region. Positive production indicators were obtained in all industries and sectors of the agricultural industry, and a record grain harvest was collected in 25 years.
The work of the board of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Denis Cherkesov, representatives of authorities , the deputy corps, public associations and municipalities. The event took place on Wednesday, March 13, at the Verkhnevolzhsky State Agrobiotechnological University.
“2023 is a year of successful development of agriculture in the Ivanovo region; positive production indicators were obtained in all industries and sectors of the agricultural industry. Last year, we harvested a record grain harvest for 25 years, reaching an absolute record for the Ivanovo region in terms of yield,” Denis Cherkesov emphasized.
He noted that over the past six years, the region's agro-industrial complex has been demonstrating positive dynamics. During this period, the rate of land commissioning increased threefold, 33.1 thousand hectares were commissioned. The production of MEAT of all types increased by 70% . The cultivation and processing of flax and industrial hemp was revived, the area under industrial crops increased sevenfold, to 3 thousand hectares. The production and processing of oilseeds has increased fourfold. Farmers increased the production of agricultural products: grain by 2.3 times, MILK by 44.2%, vegetables by 46.8%, potatoes by 17.4%. For the first time in the history of the region, the Grainrus Agro company from the Kineshma region grew and sent grain for EXPORT . 17 thousand tons of grain were sent to foreign markets. A member of the government of the Ivanovo region, DIRECTOR of the regional department of agriculture and food, Sergei Bubnov,
spoke about the results of the work of the agro-industrial complex in 2023 at a meeting of the reporting board . As part of program activities, the total amount of state support for farmers in the Ivanovo region last year amounted to more than 750 million rubles; over the past five years, this figure has increased by 20%. The volume of preferential lending to agricultural producers has increased significantly; over the past six years, farmers have been issued loans worth 13.3 billion rubles. According to preliminary data, the volume of gross agricultural output for 2023 amounted to 23.2 billion rubles. The production index in all categories of farms at comparable prices reached 105.1%.
The HEAD of the department dwelled in detail on the results of the work of the main sectors of the agro-industrial complex. Thus, at the end of 2023, 192.3 thousand tons of grain were collected, the gross harvest of which was almost 40% higher than the previous year. Positive dynamics are demonstrated by harvests of oilseeds (2.1 times more than in 2022), flax fiber (7 times), vegetables (+5.3%) and potatoes (+1.8%).
Thanks to the financial support of the state and the well-coordinated work of farmers in dairy cattle breeding, a good result was achieved. The volume of milk production in farms of all categories amounted to 163.8 thousand tons, which is 4.1% higher than the 2022 level, the productivity of the milking herd in agricultural organizations reached 7493 kg, or almost 7% higher than the 2022 level. More than 6 tons of milk from one cow was obtained in 33 agricultural organizations, which is two-thirds of the total number of farms involved in dairy cattle breeding. Investment activity continues in the industry. Last year, two dairy farms were built and put into operation in the Rodnikovsky and Savinsky districts.
The volume of livestock and poultry production increased significantly: 51.4 thousand tons (+12.1% compared to 2022), mainly due to an increase in production volumes of pig meat by 36.7% compared to 2022 and poultry meat (+4 %).
The volume of shipped food products of own production at the end of last year amounted to 18.6 billion rubles, or in comparable prices 102.4%. Including the production of FLOUR and canned fruits and vegetables increased by 2 times, fermented milk products - by 1.5 times, butter - by 15%, milk - by 11%, cheeses - by 7%.
The region actively supports and develops small businesses in rural areas. In 2023, the implementation of the regional project “Acceleration of Small and Medium Enterprises” continued, which made it possible to create 22 new farms implementing Agrostartup projects and more than 20 new jobs.
The priority areas of farm activity remain the production of milk and cattle meat , and the cultivation of vegetables and grain crops. As a result of government support in the form of Agrotourism grants, more than two thousand tourists were attracted to rural areas in 2023.
The industry is undergoing technical and technological modernization. During the year, farmers purchased 393 units of agricultural machinery, including 204 machines, or 52%, on lease.
Separately, Sergei Bubnov focused on the implementation of activities of the state program for the integrated development of rural areas. In 2023, state program activities covered 11 districts. Thus, in the Gavrilovo-Posad district, two highways Gavrilov Posad - Nepotyagovo and a section of the road Gavrilov Posad - Osanovets - Zagorye were repaired. In the Zavolzhsky district, after major renovations, the Cheganovsky rural club and the Zarechny House of Culture began operating. In seven municipal districts, 10 projects for the improvement of public spaces in rural areas have been implemented.
