In the Ivanovo region, more than 35 projects of farmers and consumer agricultural cooperatives received support in 2023

Farmers and agricultural consumer cooperatives received full state support funds for the provision of “Agrostartup” and “Agrotourism” grants, grants for the development of family farms, for the development of the material and technical base of agricultural consumer cooperatives, as well as subsidies to cooperatives .
This was reported by the regional department of agriculture and food of the Ivanovo region.
“In small forms of the agro-industrial complex there was an increase in production volumes; for example, in farms in 2022 it amounted to 116%. On behalf of the HEAD of the region, Stanislav Voskresensky, the amount of funds allocated for the development of small businesses and cooperation increases annually,” the relevant department noted.
This year, state support funds are aimed at implementing 22 projects for beginning farmers, 10 projects for family farms, two projects for developing the material and technical base of agricultural consumer cooperatives, one project for the development of rural tourism, as well as to reimburse the costs of cooperatives for the purchase of agricultural equipment and the purchase of agricultural products.
In total, almost 148 million rubles have been allocated in the regional budget this year to support farming and develop cooperation, all funds have been allocated in full to recipients. In 2023, the volume of state support in this area increased more than five times by 2017.
“Next year we plan to increase the amount of funds to support farmers and cooperation again, the amount will exceed 190 million rubles,” the regional department of agriculture emphasized.
Let us remind you that Agrostartup grants and subsidies to agricultural consumer cooperatives are provided within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.” As part of the national project, 115 new farms have been created in the Ivanovo region over five years.
