
Agrarians of the Irkutsk region have completed harvesting. Operational results of the harvesting campaign were presented the day before by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Pavel Matrunchik at a meeting of the committee on legislation on nature management, ecology and agriculture of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region.
- In general, according to operational data, 408.4 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops were harvested in the region, the gross harvest in the initial recorded weight amounted to 890.6 thousand tons. Oilseeds were harvested on an area of 56.5 thousand hectares, the gross harvest in the initial recorded weight was 93.9 thousand tons. After part-time work, the expected gross grain harvest will be 869.7 thousand tons, which is 4.6 thousand tons more than last year. it is planned to receive 92.7 thousand tons of oilseeds in weight after part-time work, which is 25.3 thousand tons higher than the level of 2020, Pavel Matrunchik said.
The Deputy Minister also noted that, according to preliminary data, the gross harvest of open ground vegetables in all categories of farms will amount to 100.2 thousand tons, including 28.6 thousand tons in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises (PFH). The gross harvest of potatoes in all categories of farms is 350.8 thousand tons, including in agricultural organizations and peasant farms - 58.7 thousand tons, which is a thousand tons more than in 2020.
Agricultural commodity producers of the region have completed fodder harvesting. 292.6 thousand tons of hay were harvested, which is 23.5% more than the planned volumes and 17.4% higher than last year. The plan for haylage harvesting was exceeded by 29% - 342.3 thousand tons (12.3% higher than last year). Silage harvested 242.8 thousand tons, 0.4% more than planned. For one conditional HEAD of cattle, 23.5 centners of feed units of coarse and succulent feed were harvested, which is enough for the successful wintering of cattle in 2021-2022.
The final results of the harvesting campaign in the region will be summed up by the statistical authorities by the end of the year.
