In the Irkutsk region, within the framework of the national project, the amount of funds for subsidizing the production of oilseeds has been increased seven times

Over 210.1 million rubles from the regional and federal budgets will be used to compensate farmers for the increase in oilseed production in 2021. Support is provided within the framework of the implementation of the activities of the national project "International Cooperation and Export". This was announced by the Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev.

“Compared to the previous year, the total amount of funding for this event increased by 7.2 times, including the regional component increased from 1.2 to 8.4 million rubles. Oilseeds, in particular rapeseed, are high-margin crops with serious EXPORT potential,” Igor Kobzev emphasized.

As Ilya Sumarokov, Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk Region, explained, the payment will be made for each ton of growth in oilseeds produced compared to 2019, since it is the base year. The ministry is accepting applications and documents for the submission of a subsidy until November 22. They can be submitted electronically through the "Personal Account of the Agricultural Producer" system.
“In the region, the increase in the production of oilseeds in 2021 was provided by more than 50 agricultural producers. They will be able to take advantage of this measure of state support,” said Ilya Sumarokov.

The minister recalled that according to operational data, this year the agricultural producers of the Angara region harvested 93.9 thousand tons of oilseeds in the initial recorded weight. After part-time work, it is planned to receive 92.7 thousand tons, which is 25.3 thousand tons higher than the level of 2020.
