The production of meat, eggs and greenhouse vegetables has increased in the Chelyabinsk region

In the agrarian sector of the Chelyabinsk region, in January-May of this year, the production of all kinds of MEAT, chicken eggs and greenhouse vegetables increased. According to statistics, the agro-industrial sector produced 171.2 thousand tons of meat in five months - 3.3% more than a year earlier, 663.1 million eggs - 7.6% more, greenhouse vegetables - 18.6 thousand tons, more by 14.8%.
A significant increase is shown by South Ural pig farms - plus five percent, 54.4 thousand tons of pork were produced. Agrofirma Ariant makes the largest contribution to the production of pig meat: in five months, they sent 43.6 thousand tons of meat for sale, which is 10% more than in the same period last year.
Similar dynamics is observed in the poultry farms of the South Urals. Poultry meat production increased by 4.9%. Almost 112 thousand tons were produced. Significant growth is shown by large enterprises - these are Ravis - Poultry Farm Sosnovskaya (25.9 thousand tons, + 28.3%), Magnitogorsk Poultry Complex (12 thousand tons, + 8.3%), Ural Meat Company » (14.9 thousand tons, +1.1%). Uralbroiler produced 22.3 thousand tons of poultry meat, Nagaybak Poultry Complex 21.7 thousand tons, Chebarkulskaya Ptitsa 13.7 thousand tons. Bektyshskaya Poultry Farm produced 1.3 thousand tons of poultry meat .
The release of eggs in industrial poultry farming in January-May of this year increased by 7.6%. Of the total production volume (663.1 million eggs), 569 million eggs were sent to the distribution network and the population during the seasonal sale for hatching chickens. The other part of the produced eggs is used for incubation in meat poultry farms in order to raise broiler chickens. Industrial production of marketable eggs is carried out by the Magnitogorsk Poultry Complex (72 million units), Chebarkulskaya Ptitsa (204 million units, + 9.6%), Chelyabinsk Poultry Farm (319.6 million units, + 7.2% ).
Greenhouse vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, green crops) are grown in the Chelyabinsk region by Agrocomplex Churilovo, Agropark Ural, Greenhouse. For the five months of 2022, these enterprises produced, respectively, 8 thousand tons (+29%), 9.3 thousand tons (+22.3%) and 1.3 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables and herbs.
In the ranking of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, according to the results of the first quarter of 2022, the Chelyabinsk region took 7th place in the production of poultry meat in farms of all categories and 3rd place in the production of eggs.
