Agrarians from 25 southern, western, eastern and central regions of the region started spring sowing. The work was carried out on 118 thousand hectares (8.6% of the plan).
In particular, the villagers sowed grain and legumes on 92.7 thousand hectares (about 10%), rapeseed - on 17 thousand hectares (almost 7%). In terms of sowing season, the south of the region is in the lead: local farmers were the first to go into the fields.
“The start of the sowing campaign in the region was delayed due to the cold April weather. On the same date last season, the pace of field work was three times higher. Now the situation is leveling off - the fine May days contribute. Farmers work confidently thanks to timely quality preparation for sowing and state support. These are per hectare subsidies, funds to reimburse part of the costs of production and marketing of grain, to pay interest on loans and others. Since the beginning of the year, the agro-industrial complex of the region has received 2.6 billion rubles of state support,” the acting DIRECTOR said. Potatoes were planted in the Shushensky district on 190 hectares (3% of the regional plan), vegetables - in the Yemelyanovsky, Berezovsky and Shushensky districts on 155 hectares (12% of the plan).
Moisture is closed on 592 thousand hectares - this is more than half of the planned areas. Fertilized 125.5 thousand hectares. For the future harvest, farmers brought 71.6 thousand tons of the active ingredient of mineral fertilizers, which is 11 thousand tons of a.i. more than a year earlier.
Recall that the sown area in the region this year is planned to be increased by 12 thousand hectares - up to 1 million 539 thousand hectares. In particular, cereals and legumes will occupy 964 thousand hectares, oilseeds - about 264 thousand hectares, potatoes - 31 thousand hectares, vegetables - 5.3 thousand hectares, fodder crops - 275 thousand hectares.
