A unique project to create a robotic farm was implemented in the Belgorod Region

SPK "Sovetskaya Rodina" is the leader in milk production in the Rovensky district of the Belgorod region. New technologies that are being introduced at the cyberfarm allow us to take first place in terms of milk yield and quality of raw materials.
As part of the project, a farm was built and robotic milking machines were purchased. Loose housing is practiced at the enterprise: animals move freely around the barn, and when they feel that it is time to give milk, voluntarily go to the robot. In addition, the farm has a modern robotic electric comber and feed pusher. Increasing the frequency of feed pushing encourages frequent feed intake during the day and night, resulting in increased feed intake throughout the herd. This not only has a positive effect on the health of the animals, but also improves the productivity of the animals.
In addition to this farm, the production facilities of the SPK "Sovetskaya Rodina" include 5 more objects of dairy and beef animal husbandry with a total number of livestock of dairy cattle with a productivity of over 6 thousand heads, incl. cows - more than 2 thousand. In 2021, milk yield per cow amounted to almost 7 thousand kg. Today, according to this indicator, "Soviet Motherland" ranks first in the region. And the gross volume of milk production amounted to more than 14 thousand tons.
Belgorod region is in the TOP-15 largest producers of marketable milk in the Russian Federation and in the top three in the Central Federal District. Gross milk production in 2021 amounted to 697.6 thousand tons, with an annual increase of 11 thousand tons. The total number of cattle in the region is almost 237 thousand heads, including more than 94 thousand cows.
