In Bashkortostan, they complete the digging of sugar beet

By October 19, 34.9 thousand hectares with this crop were dug in 16 beet-growing regions of Bashkiria. This is almost 96% of all areas.

The gross harvest of root crops in the region amounted to 859 thousand tons with an average yield of 246 centners per hectare.

So far, 480 thousand tons of beets have been exported to the factories. SUGAR from local raw materials produced 17.6 thousand tons. The yield of sugar from the beet of the new crop is 15.1%, which is higher than last year's figure.
