Bashkortostan harvested over 1 million tons of grain

The gross grain harvest in the Republic of Bashkortostan by August 21 amounted to 1 million 32 thousand tons.
As farmers note, they have to work in sections for now, as rains are a big hindrance. Almost 300 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been threshed to date, which is 21% of the total volume. The average yield reaches 35 centners per hectare.
Winter crops have been harvested on an area of ​​208 thousand hectares, which is 87% of the plan. Harvesting of spring grain and leguminous crops is just gaining momentum, so far 98 thousand hectares have been threshed, which is more than 8%.
The weather forecast for the coming days is encouraging, so farmers are preparing to make the most of the fine days.
