Nearly 20,000 tons of sugar from new crop beets produced in Bashkortostan

By October 22, 19.8 thousand tons of SUGAR were produced in Bashikria from beets of the 2021 harvest.

In total, 130.3 thousand tons of sugar beets from 432 thousand tons of harvested root crops were processed at the Raevsakhar plant. The sugar content of root crops is 19.7%, which is 4.8% higher than last year's level.

The Chishminsky Sugar Plant also launched beet processing, which has so far harvested 107.8 thousand tons of root crops.

it should be noted that in the fields of beet-growing regions of the republic, the harvesting of sugar beet has reached the finish line. Farmers dug 35.9 thousand hectares with this crop. The gross harvest of root crops in the region amounted to 900 thousand tons.
