A scientific experiment was carried out by scientists of the Ural Agrarian University together with the manufacturer of the drug "Uralbiosintez" on poultry.
For 35 days, a thousand broiler chickens were fed with the most ordinary feed, without additives used by enterprises in the production of chicken MEAT. The birds were divided into 5 groups, four of which were given different volumes of a biological additive obtained by microbiological synthesis based on deep processing of agricultural products. Two experimental groups received the supplement with food, and the other two - with water.
Every day, during the scientific and production experiment, USAU scientists assessed the weight gain and development of chickens, as well as their HEALTH indicators.
“All chickens developed and grew in accordance with the general patterns of growth and development. At the same time, chickens from the experimental groups maintained growth intensity for a longer time and consumed less feed, especially after 20 days. The highest live weight was achieved by chickens from the 2nd group, which received the preparation "Ares" in the amount of 0.6 g/kg of compound feed. Their live weight before slaughter exceeded the control group (without feed additive) by an average of 200 grams, and feed conversion decreased by 15%. In addition, the chickens of the experimental groups showed a better development of the gastrointestinal tract, which is evidenced by a higher weight of the intestines, stomach and liver. They quickly changed their plumage and showed a high percentage of safety,” explained Olga Vasilievna Gorelik, Professor of the Department of Biotechnology and Food Products of the Ural State Agrarian University, DOCTOR of Agricultural Sciences.
According to the manufacturer of the feed additive, its uniqueness lies in the use of microorganisms and technological solutions that allow obtaining the final product with the desired characteristics. The additive enriches the feed with protein and probiotics and, as a result, improves the digestibility of food, reduces the negative effects of toxins and increases the standard weight gain of the bird. Such nutrition makes it possible to refuse feed antibiotics and obtain environmentally friendly and low-allergenic chicken meat.
“By the method of biological synthesis, we get a completely balanced product that meets all the requirements of a living organism. Already “tomorrow”, only with the help of microorganisms, the problem of the lack of animal protein in the diet of farm animals and poultry will be solved, and our main task, as scientists, is to give a full-fledged technological cycle to Russian enterprises wishing to engage in deep processing of agricultural products. The deficit in RUSSIA of animal proteins is more than 1 million tons per year. The whole process of obtaining the product takes place in several stages: first, deep cultivation is performed, then the purification and isolation of the desired product from the grown biomass takes place, and at the end of the process, drying and packaging are performed. All stages of obtaining the product are carried out under sterile conditions. This technology is scalable
According to the participants of the experiment, the effectiveness of the use of biologically active additives for the industrial cultivation of poultry is obvious. In addition, its use allows you to get an environmentally friendly product and reduce its cost. The drug has already been tested at one Ural poultry farm, and now the producers are waiting for scientifically based recommendations from scientists regarding the industrial technology of feeding chickens with this additive.
