Udmurtia is increasing the export of dry dairy products - its volume since the beginning of the year has amounted to more than 250 tons

Another foreign food market has “subdued” to the Udmurt MILK producers - at the end of October 2021, they sent the first trial batch of whey to Kazakhstan. In early November, deliveries continued - the products went to CHINA . Starting from January, this is already the fifth supply of dry dairy products abroad, while it was included in the list of food exported from the territory of the republic only in 2021.

Whey was exported by Glazov-Moloko PP, one of the production sites of OJSC MILKOM (milk processing sub-holding KOMOS GROUP). In May, July and October, the enterprise has already successfully carried out the first deliveries of products to China, only 175 tons were shipped. Another 50 tons were shipped the other day. This time JSC "MILCOM" ensures the delivery of products to the Celestial Empire together with JSC "RZD Logistics".

Multimodal transportation is provided along the optimal route Glazov - Yekaterinburg - Vladivostok port - Xingang port. The containers will be on the way for about 25-30 days, the agricultural holding reported.

Kazakhstan became the second importer of Udmurt dry demineralized whey. At the end of October, Glazov-Moloko made the first pilot delivery to this country, the batch volume amounted to 34 tons. The product travels by car to the end point - the city of Alma-Ata. The site "Glazov-milk" was entered by the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR of RUSSIA in the register of enterprises exporting to Kazakhstan in February this year. In case of successful implementation of this batch, the company plans to further increase the volume of whey supplies to Kazakhstan. And in general, it can occupy its niche in the world EXPORT of whey - the agricultural holding is considering a project to modernize the drying complex, which will increase processing volumes from 450 to 800 tons per day.

Self-delivery of the export batch to China will allow MILCOM OJSC to apply for a transport subsidy under Decree No. 1104. The subsidy involves the provision of federal compensation for part of the cost of transporting agricultural and food products by land, including rail, transport. Today, this subsidy is the most demanded among Russian exporters of agricultural products.

In general, since the beginning of 2021, the volume of exports of agricultural products of Udmurtia amounted to 4.39 million dollars, which is an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year (3.95 million dollars). A new type of product exported by Udmurt farmers has become not only whey, but also rapeseed oil (LLC Kompak), breeding bioproducts (LLC Mozhgaplem), food chicken eggs (LLC Varaksino Poultry Farm), mushroom mycelia (IP Spesivtsev V.M.). Also, for the first time, Udmurt producers of milk and ready-made dairy products entered the US market .

It is expected that by the end of 2021, the volume of agricultural exports of Udmurtia will be 6.0 million dollars. Thus, the growth rate achieved over the last five years will be 20%.
