Harvesting started in 10 districts of Bashkortostan

By July 14, winter wheat, rye and camelina, as well as peas , began to be harvested in 10 districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Grain growers mowed down 2,400 hectares with winter and spring crops, and threshed almost 2,000 of them. The gross harvest of grain and oilseeds amounted to 5.7 thousand tons.
While the pace is low, the rains slowed down the progress of harvesting. More than 800 hectares of winter crops were mown in the Aurgazinsky district, 390 - in Sterlitamaksky. In the Ilishevsky district, peas are actively harvested.
In total, farmers will have to harvest 1,760,000 hectares of grain and leguminous crops this year.
