After evaluating the business projects of the contestants, the commission, consisting of representatives of the agricultural industry and the public, determined the winners by the sum of the points scored. They were: Alexander Tkachenko, Igor Ermilin and Ksenia Heno.
“We listened to all the contestants whose projects were admitted to the competition, and were also present at the scoring procedure to determine the winners. it is very pleasant to realize that our fellow citizens generate ideas in agribusiness and are not afraid to start implementing them,” said Marina Nedogoda, a member of the public council under the AIC Department.
Alexander Tkachenko from the Nadymsky district won a grant of 3 million rubles, which he will use to create a hydroponic farm. Through the use of hydroponic technology, Alexander plans to establish a year-round production of lettuce, green onions and other types of greens.
Igor Yermilin from Nadym plans to use the 1.8 million rubles won grant to realize his dream of creating a quail farm. In accordance with the business plan, the project starts with 346 quails, but within five years the number of birds will be increased to five thousand.
This year, a novice farmer from the village of Tazovsky Ksenia Heno thought about her own production of smoked venison. Her intention became a reality - the girl won a grant of 1.7 million rubles, which she will spend on the purchase of a modular building and the necessary equipment for smoking MEAT.
“In the first wave of the competition, applicants for the grant proposed interesting, and most importantly, socially significant business ideas. The choice of members of the commission was not easy. Not all contestants have become winners, but farmers who have not passed the selection have the opportunity, after adjusting their business plans, to submit applications for the second wave, which will tentatively begin in September. We will inform you about the exact date of the start of the competition later,” said Sergey Sinyakov, an analyst at the State Institution “Directorate for the Development of Rural Territories”.
Recall that since 2019, 46 projects have been submitted to the Agrostartup competition. Eight of them have already received support for a total of 28 million rubles. Three winners of the first wave of this year's competition will receive 6.5 million rubles after they sign agreements.
