By the end of 2021, agricultural producers of the Irkutsk region will receive 62 million rubles from the federal budget to compensate for part of the costs incurred for the implementation of investment projects to create and modernize dairy farms. Another 21.8 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk region Ilya Sumarokov.
The need to support investment development and attract federal funds for this direction was repeatedly noted by the Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev.

Federal funds of the Irkutsk region were allocated following the results of a competitive selection of investment projects aimed at creating or modernizing agricultural facilities. The selection was carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA. In total, 78 applications from 30 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the selection in the "Dairy complexes" direction.
- For this year's competitive selection, the Irkutsk Region has submitted three investment projects, all of which have been approved and will be financed. The projects have already been implemented, the facilities have been put into operation. The funds allocated from the two budgets will make it possible to compensate for about 35% of the costs of agricultural producers, - Ilya Sumarokov emphasized.
As part of the implementation of investment projects at an agricultural enterprise in the Usolsky district, a cowshed for 200 heads of cattle was modernized to improve the conditions for animals. It was equipped with modern ventilation, milking and manure removal equipment, an automatic watering system, and also carried out work on the arrangement and equipment of the feed table.
