In the first 11 months of 2025, farmers in the Republic of Bashkortostan purchased 1,890 units of equipment worth 10.8 billion rubles, which is the same as the same period last year.
The pace of renewal is being supported by the program for upgrading the equipment fleet of the agro-industrial complex. This year, agricultural producers received over 700 million rubles in subsidies under this program.
Machinery and equipment play a crucial role in modern agricultural production. It is important not only to acquire them, but also to maintain them and properly prepare them for field work. This was discussed in the Chekmagushevsky District of Bashkortostan, where a seminar and meeting on preparing agricultural machinery for field work in 2026 was held.
"Despite all the economic difficulties, farmers in the republic continue to maintain the pace of equipment acquisition at a rate of 1 billion rubles per month," said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. "It's important to remember that modern equipment is very expensive. Therefore, it must be treated accordingly and with care. Unfortunately, the opposite is often true."
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov touched on the creation of a machine-tractor complex (MTC) system, which is being discussed at the federal level.
"We already have the practice of creating machine-technological stations," he said. "There was a time when 60% of harvesting areas were handled by MTS. We will most likely create MTCs, but in a slightly different format. These will not only include equipment and maintenance services, but most likely a full range of agricultural services, from agronomist consultations to centralized deliveries of all types of seeds and fertilizers."
In his report, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Akhmetov urged the representatives of the republic's districts present at the seminar to begin full equipment repairs in a timely manner for the next season.
He noted that a corresponding order from the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan was issued to ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of equipment for field work in 2026. It sets deadlines for preparing equipment for seasonal field work. Simple tillage equipment must be ready by February 1, tractors, machinery, and seeding equipment by April 1, self-propelled mowers by May 20, and combines by July 1.
The seminar continued in the afternoon at the production facilities of agricultural enterprises in the Chekmagushevsky District. These include the production base of the Chekmagushevsky branch of the Central MTS, the Baybulat grain drying complex, a dairy farm , a grain drying complex, a feed mill, and a repair shop for the Hero agricultural production cooperative and collective farm.
"Today, we have an association of repair and maintenance companies operating in our district. "Ninety percent of companies that currently sell, perform major repairs, warranty service, and complete overhauls are members of the association. Our companies currently manufacture approximately 250-270 types of agricultural machinery from scratch, and approximately 3,000-3,500 types of spare parts are manufactured locally. "We are now able to repair all types of machinery, including imported ones," noted Ilshat Fazrakhmanov during the practical portion of the seminar.
Providing the agricultural sector with new Russian machinery and equipment is a goal of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security."
