Harvesting continues in the fields of the Tambov region. According to the operational information of the regional department of agriculture, Tambov farmers have harvested more than 3 million tons of SUGAR beets.

The crop has been harvested from 81 percent of the fields, 79,000 hectares have been cultivated. All sugar refineries in the region are operating at full capacity. Almost 2 million tons of new harvest sugar beets have been handed over to factories.
To date, most sugar beets have been harvested in the Mordovian region - over 400 thousand tons. More than 300 thousand tons of sweet roots are the contribution of farmers of the Rzhaksinsky district.

Harvesting of sunflower, soybeans, corn, potatoes and vegetables continues in the Tambov fields.
