Tambov agrarians began to sow carrots, table beets, plant onions

According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov region, the farmers of the region have begun work on sowing carrots, table beets, planting onions. This year, the sown area of ​​open ground vegetables in the region will be 400 hectares.
Vegetable crops are grown by agrarians of Kirsanovsky, Michurinsky, Pichaevsky and Staroyurievsky districts.
The farms of the Michurinsky district have the largest areas of open ground vegetables. Carrots, table beet, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes are grown here.
it should be noted that this year in the region, compared to 2021, the sown area under carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes has been increased.
In total, it is planned to harvest about 20 thousand tons of vegetables in 2022.
In the production of open ground vegetables, Tambov farmers use modern technologies, equipment and machinery. The farms have their own storage systems. Tambov vegetables are sold in the region and beyond.
