Tambov region increased the export of grinding products by 23 times

According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov region, in January-November, the EXPORT of milled products amounted to 1.7 million US dollars . This is 23 times more than in the same period last year. The main share in the export of this category of goods falls on wheat FLOUR. Its exports exceeded 1.1 million US dollars. The main buyers of Tambov flour are Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus.

Flour produced in the Tambov region is used for the manufacture of bakery, pasta, dumplings and is sold throughout RUSSIA.

it should be noted that 10 large and medium-sized flour mills operate in the region with a total capacity of more than 2,400 tons of grain processing per day. The region is one of the leaders in the production of flour in the Central Federal District.

“Flour mills of the Tambov region continue to work on establishing partnerships with potential importers to further increase the volume of exports of their products,” said Maxim Egorov, Acting HEAD of the Administration of the Tambov Region.

The region exports grinding products as part of the implementation of the regional project "Export of agricultural products" of the Tambov region of the national project "International cooperation and export".
