Tambov region increased the export of grain products

The EXPORT of grain crops from the Tambov region as of October 2021 increased by 13% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 112 million US dollars . This data was provided by the federal center for the development of exports of agricultural products of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA "Agroexport". it should be noted that about 90% of grain exports are wheat. The remaining 10% is corn.

Buyers of Tambov grain are mainly the countries of Central Africa and Northern Europe. According to the Department of Agriculture of the region, for the first time Tambov wheat was sent to Syria this year, the export amounted to 45 million US dollars.
