Tambov region has increased the production of agricultural products

For 10 months of this year, Tambov food industry enterprises shipped goods of their own production, as well as performed work and services worth about 117 billion rubles.

According to the regional department of agriculture, this is 137% compared to the same period last year. The share of food production exceeds 60% in the total shipment volume of processing industries.

The largest growth was demonstrated by the production of sausages (116%), flour (115%), confectionery (114%) and semi-finished meat products (110%). The index of food production compared to the same period last year amounted to 102%.

The Tambov region continues to hold a leading position in the Central Federal District in the production of flour from grain crops, meat and sugar.
