Tambov region increases meat exports

EXPORT of MEAT products in the Tambov region in July 2022 increased by 17% compared to the same period last year. Such data are provided by the federal center for the development of exports of agricultural products of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA.
The highest dynamics of shipments is shown by the export of poultry meat. Growth - 2 times compared to the same period last year.
Asian countries are the leaders in purchasing Tambov poultry. They acquire more than half of the total poultry meat exports. Large volumes of purchases are also carried out by the countries of the Middle East and the Caucasus.
Our region successfully fulfills the targets of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
“Tambov meat products are known in different countries of the world and are valued for their high quality,” notes Maxim Egorov, Acting HEAD of the Tambov Region Administration. - The demand for it is constantly growing, and we support it. We are increasing production and are ready to further increase exports.”
