
Over 100 million rubles will be allocated for land reclamation activities in the Irkutsk region in 2022.
In 2022, 22 agricultural producers of the Irkutsk region will receive subsidies from the federal budget in the total amount of 108.3 million rubles for land reclamation work. The competitive selection of projects was carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk region Ilya Sumarokov.
“As part of the allocated funds for financing for 2022, the federal department approved 19 projects in the region for cultural and technical reclamation and three projects for hydromelioration,” explained Ilya Sumarokov.
The minister stressed that another 41 projects from the Irkutsk region were included in the priority list for selection when forming an additional list in the event that additional budgetary funds are brought to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
In 2022, agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises from 14 districts of the Irkutsk region will receive federal subsidies. In the course of the implementation of projects on hydromelioration, it is planned to install reclamation systems and organize irrigation of the soil on an area of 424 hectares in the Irkutsk and Usolsky districts. This will increase the efficiency of growing and crop yields, including potatoes and open field vegetables. The selected projects of cultural and technical reclamation provide for the introduction into agricultural circulation of 4.7 thousand hectares of unused land in the Alarsky, Bokhansky, Nukutsky, Ekhirit-Bulagatsky, Osinsky, Ust-Udinsky, Zalarinsky, Kuitunsky, Chunsky, Tulunsky, Taishetsky, Bratsky districts.
