Agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises of the Stavropol region, engaged in the production of edible eggs, took advantage of state support measures.
The subsidy is directed to organizations to reimburse part of the costs of purchasing feed, paying for electricity, purchasing veterinary drugs, as well as wages for agricultural producers during the period of lowest demand for the II and III quarters of the current year.
For these purposes, 25 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget. The subsidy is provided at the rate per one piece of edible chicken eggs produced and sold. This is a renewed state support for the industry, which has not been for several years.
The main industrial production of chicken eggs in the Stavropol Territory lies with four agricultural organizations: Kumskaya, Grachevskaya and Preobrazhenskaya poultry farms, as well as the Alliance poultry complex in the Blagodarnensky District. These enterprises produced more than 330 million eggs in 2021.
“This support is very necessary for enterprises, since during the period of reduced demand for edible eggs, they are forced to sell eggs at a reduced price, even below their own cost. And these enterprises, by the way, make a significant contribution to the development of this area, annually producing more than 40% of the gross egg production in the region,” said Alexei Krisan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
In addition, according to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the state compensates up to 20% of the cost of construction and modernization of complexes involved in the creation of breeding material for domestic poultry farmers.
