USAU student took 1st place in the professional tournament "Tractor Show"

Andrey Khudyakov, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies of USAU, became the best in the regional tractor driving competitions.
The Tractor Show professional skill tournament was held in Yekaterinburg on September 13 as part of the AGROPROM Ural exhibition. The competition was organized by Rosagroleasing JSC, MTZ OJSC and the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Market of the Sverdlovsk Region.
32 machine operators of the Sverdlovsk region competed for the title of the best. Students and professional machine operators from agricultural enterprises of the region demonstrated the skill of driving a tractor, including figured driving with a loose load and obligatory observance of a given trajectory. Also, within 7 minutes, the participants of the competition passed the track with obstacles and performed certain tasks. In particular, they reversed out of the "garage", lifted the load, installed it in the designated place and returned to the "garage" forward with a full stop in the perimeter.
The competitions were held on tractors "Belarus" in the open area of ​​IEC "Ekaterinburg-EXPO".
As a result of the tournament, Andrey Khudyakov, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies of USAU, completed the tasks best of all and won a diploma and the Tractor Show Cup.
“I took part in such a tournament not for the first time - earlier I competed in regional competitions of tractor drivers and plowmen. Of course, I wanted to win, but I didn’t go for victory, it was interesting to try my hand and see. In general, I have been familiar with tractors since childhood, I have been seriously engaged since the age of 14 - my father has his own peasant farm in the Rezhevsky district, ”said Andrey Khudyakov, a 4th year student at the Faculty of Engineering Technologies of the Ural State Agrarian University.
Recall that Agroprom Ural is a large-scale exhibition and congress event, which presents modern engineering solutions and agricultural machinery, materials and equipment for animal husbandry and crop production, food products from Ural producers.
