USAU student became a laureate of the All-Russian Timiryazev Competition

Mikhail Larin, a master's student at the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management, USAU, won a 2nd degree diploma in the full-time round of the competition.

The All-Russian Timiryazev competition of research, development, technological and social projects of young people in the field of the agro-industrial complex "Agro-industrial complex - youth, science, innovation" was held in two stages.

From September 1 to October 18, as part of the correspondence round, the competitive works were examined by expert councils. On November 17-18, the best reports were presented in a face-to-face presentation - young scientists defended them in front of a jury - expert councils.

According to the results of the all-Russian competition, Mikhail Larin, a 1st year student of the Master's program at the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management, USAU, became the laureate of the correspondence competition and won a diploma of the II degree in the internal round. The topic of his report was the innovative development of the Reftinskaya poultry farm, taking into account the production of organic agricultural products. Supervisor - Ruschitskaya OA, Head of the Department of Management and Economic Theory, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor.

“The purpose of my work was to develop a program for a smooth transition of the existing poultry farm to the production of organic products. Mostly, it was about the conditions of keeping and feeding the birds. The relevance of the topic lies in the need to produce organic food, especially during the period of environmental degradation and the trend for a healthy lifestyle,” said Mikhail Larin, winner of the competition, 1st year master’s student at the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management, USAU.

The All-Russian Timiryazev Competition "Agro-Industrial Complex - Youth, Science, Innovation" is held for high school students, students and researchers aged 14 to 30 who are engaged in scientific or research activities. The National System "Integration" invites participants to create a project with their ideas, developments or research and submit it for evaluation before an expert jury.

The main purpose of the competition is to develop children's and youth's interest in scientific, creative and other creative activities, dissemination and popularization of scientific knowledge in the field of the agro-industrial complex, summing up the results of independent scientific, educational, research and other creative work.

Based on the results of the event, a collection of abstracts of the winners of the competition is published.
