On December 12, 2023, a state inspector of the state land supervision department for the Penza region of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region took part in a seminar on the development of livestock farming in the Neverkinsky district, which was held at the base of the peasant farm of D.S. Pyataev
. The seminar was attended by the HEAD of the Neverkinsky district Moiseev Yu.V., heads of farms and heads of peasant farms.
The results of the development of the livestock industry of the district for 11 months of 2023 were summed up and tasks for 2024 were defined .
One of the most important issues discussed at the seminar was "By-products of animal husbandry, assessment of compliance with mandatory requirements for their use." An employee of the Office informed agricultural producers that they make the decision on classifying substances formed during the keeping of farm animals as by-products of animal husbandry (BPZh) independently. Having made such a decision, legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, peasant farms submit to the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor a notification on classifying substances formed during the keeping of farm animals as by-products of livestock farming for the upcoming calendar year no later than December 31 of the current calendar year.
The attention of business entities was drawn to the requirements approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 31, 2022 No. 1940 "On approval of requirements for the circulation of by-products of livestock farming". it is indicated that the presence of pathogenic and pathogenic microorganisms and parasites is not allowed in processed and reprocessed by-products of livestock farming, which must be confirmed by the results of studies conducted by a laboratory accredited in the manner established by the legislation of the Russian Federation on accreditation in the national accreditation system.
